Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time where the family gathers together and have a feast. Get together which family you do not see everyday. Have a good time and just chill with the family. People play cards, kids play in the leaves, grandparents talk about there life. Sweet Potato Pie on the table with the turkey and ham, so much food for everyone too get seconds.

Veterans Day

Never Forgotten

         November 11 is the anniversary of the end of World War I , we call this day Armistice Day. Soon in 1954 it was renamed to Veterans Day. This day is known to show respect for people who had served our country the United States of America. Men and women who risked there lives for our country. These people did not have too take a chance or volunteer to protect Americans. We should thanks Veterans everyday not just on November 11, we would even have much freedom if  it was not for veterans. They have real courage, brave humans too risk there lives for somebody else who is not thankful. These soldiers were committed and gave a sacrifice too put their life their blood on the line too defend our way of living.
        Veterans Day is too honor the living and the dead who fought for us. People fought because they believe we should have a free country. They were dedicated. People fought for the rights for our country. The are respected for all there works they put into this country. They made a big difference in America today. They have all my respect, I fully appreciate them for the works they have done.

Taxes

Most people that have jobs have a Salary. He boss keeps a Payroll too keep track of what amount of money his employee's makes. The Net Pay is all your taxes added up. Federal , Social Security , State , Medicare , Pension , and Gross Pay Taxes. The state makes you pay your text so if you don't they just take it out of your check.  Your Pension is you retirement money.  You Gross Pay is all you money you have made overtime working all hours. Medicare Tax pay for your medicine of any time of prescription when your sick. State Tax you pay to keep your money coming too you form the state. The State Tax is important because if you even need need with money they help you out but eventually when you get back on track you have too pay them back. Social Security is one of the largest government, if someone passes aways and does not have enough money too pay for a  service the Social Security will help. Elderly people that do not work get a social security check too help with bills and food.

Election .

Some people say negative thing about Obama and Romney . They may have there differences but there can only be one winner in this election . Race does not matter in this , what matter is what they will do for our country. I wish people would understand that instead of voting because there white or black .

Spreadsheets .

In Ms.Shannon's Class we have been learning about Spreadsheets. There are Columns and Rows. Another name for those are Grid Lines . The rows are set up to go up and down the columns go across . When typing you set your cursor in a range which is and cell . If you are typing in that Cell it is an Active cell if there are no words in the cell it is a Cell Address . When working in Microsoft Excel you are working in a Sheet , you can rename the Sheet Tab . To not save so many sheets you can make a Workbook with all your sheet in one book . If you are adding Values you use a Formula instead of adding all numbers up in calculators . If you do not want too use values you can use Numeric labels . You can also use Auto Sum when Selecting the column and it adds up on its own . To translate words to another cell you use Fill Handle . Designing a spreadsheet use Auto Format yo add Graphs and other sorts of materials with auto format . Labels are mostly are used to create titles .
